I was in South Miami last week at Morning Call Bakery, one of my favorite breakfast, coffee places in Miami. If you’ve never been you’re missing out. The location is central and easy, and the menu never fails. The Morning Call Bakery is quiet and relaxing it has the strong, homey, charm of a local cafe and it’s the perfect alternative to the Starbucks on your block and the next block and the block after that.
I walked around a bit and was glad to see two new local establishments.
Who’s Kickin, is a lovely maternity and baby wear boutique, so next time one of your friends/coworkers shares the good news you know where to go.
The other new kid is Alta Cocina, a new, great spot for lunch especially for those in the Coral Gables/Coconut Grove area.
