Tonight in the Design District the usual and usually hip Thursday night cocktails will be taking place at Domo Japones. However, this Thursday the party is slightly more bitter than sweet as many gather to wish Nina Arias Good Luck as she departs Miami.
This Thursday, March 6th check out Domo Japones for dinner and the chic cocktail party Cocktails Anyone?
And this Saturday, March 8th the Party is ON as the Design District hosts Second Saturdays.
As usual there will be plenty to do :
and of course you can have dinner at amazing restaurants in the neighborhood
This week marks the first time Luminaire X will be celebrating Second Saturdays in the Design District, so stop by the coffee bar and grab an espresso, actually make it a double cause Saturday is going to be a long, fun night.
No matter what the project, event, weekend it’s usually better to plan ahead or at least to know the options ahead of time for a better strategy.
Thursday, January 10th, join the Florida Association for Women Lawyers at Grass Lounge from 6-8 p.m. as they host It’s Easy Being Green with a special appearance by Mayor Manny Diaz. If you enjoy environmentally focused events you should learn more about Dream in Green.
Saturday, January 12, head to Wynwood for Second Saturdays the monthly gallery walk. This gallery walk includes some open studios, where artists such as Gerry Stecca share current work. Saturday is also the Miami Design District’s Art + Design night.
Once you’re in the area stop by Michael’s Genuine or Domo Japones for dinner.
And later Saturday night since you’ll be in the neighborhood join the NFAA’s youngPatrons’ at Soho Studios 2136 NW 1rst Ave, as they close the 2008 youngArts week and host the inaugural youngPatrons Late Night Party, the cost is $50 per person, entertainment will be provided by NFAA youngArts alumni and DJ Irie.
