Time released it’s Inventions of the Year List. One of the items on the list is the Glo Pillow. A pillow which simulates a natural sunrise for those very early mornings. Speaking of early mornings remember we fall back an hour this weekend. An extra hour should be well spent remember there are plenty of great things to do this weekend the Mandarin Oriental’s seasonal happy hour Barefoot at the Oasis is now in swing, Kings of Leon and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will be at Revolution, Hands on Miami Day, Sleepless Night, and if you’ve never been check out one of the best brunch spots the Ice Box cafe with a menu that changes weekly this place is as cool as it gets. and then head over to the Miami Book Fair. And speaking of cool Peyton Manning is tres cool for this hilarious SNL skit.

If you live up north you look forward to leaves changing and the crisp chill in the air it’s the comforting feel of fall. In Miami, fall means Season. And as most of us know season is upon us. There are numerous opportunities to participate. This Saturday morning is Hands on Miami day the largest day of service in Miami. Saturday night brings us the all nighter party dreams are made of as Miami Beach hosts Sleepless Night. Sleepless Night offers an array of activities and is sure to be one of this season’s premiere events. And speaking of this season’s premiere events Art Basel and all the festivities that surround it are about a month away. Meanwhile in November we can look forward to Miami hosting numerous exciting events a few of them are Miami Book Fair International, Nascar races, the White Party, and the Miami Short Film Festival. While temperatures start to drop up north just remember season is starting to sizzle in Miami and it promises to be scorching.
