Miami Style Battle : Style Wars Miami continues

The Miami Style Wars continue this Saturday, January 27 at the Stoli Hotel from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. as some of Miami’s most stylish residents once again do battle except this time it’s Artists vs Designers.

The competitors have less than five minutes to tape, cut, paste, i.e. hustle. Let’s see who has the Creative Competitive Eye of the Tiger.

This round House of Diehl’s Miami Style Battle will have some fresh faces serving as judges. Contestants and Judges include:

And as we all know competition only gets tougher. And the after party victory celebration only gets better so head to the White Room/Poplife for the after party located at 1306 N Miami Avenue.

Stoli Hotel update

The Stoli Hotel Miami opened last week and will be in town until Sunday, February 1rst. Below are a list of events scheduled:

It’s a busy week in Miami as several events kick off and as I sat at my computer looking over my emails and scanning the menu at Whisk for my usual Monday lunch salad (Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Organic Spinach Salad w/ Shaved Red Onion, Local Avocado Slices, Chopped Egg, Cremini Mushrooms & Honey-Mustard Dressing) and cupcake, (Mondays and Wednesdays are Misha’s cupcakes days at Whisk gourmet) I noticed the link to peniferella at the bottom of the screen and I was delighted to find a great design studio.

Elsewhere Macworld is taking place this week in San Francisco.

Tech trendwatchers are waiting to see what Apple will unveil and they especially awaiting a new compact laptop. Steve Jobs will deliver the keynote speech today at noon and you can watch it on Apple’s main page.

Stoli Hotel, make a reservation

The Stoli Hotel presented by Stolichnaya vodka will have it’s grand opening in one week on Wednesday, January 16th and Brody Jenner is set to host the night’s festivities.

The Stoli Hotel travels to Miami, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and LA. It will have rooms based on different flavors and designed with each host city’s unique aesthetic in mind.

The holidays are over and now it’s back to normal well easing back into normal and by next week we’ll be there. Funny that the temperatures in Miami finally dipped below 50 after the holidays.

As I think about 2008 I start to set aside a few calendar dates, organize favorite sites, and focus on some growing interests and trends like adding a luxury twist to an existing idea. Ideeli and Gilt Groupe embraced the idea of selling one luxury item per day at a discounted price while supplies last, both are similar to Woot:
